Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Vivek Bhupatiraju ("we") for using Cop&Haul. By creating an account or using Cop&Haul you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Cop&Haul
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Cop&Haul is in private beta: joining needs an access code or a friend's invite. Don't share or sell access codes publicly.
- Give accurate account details, keep your password private, and tell us if your account is misused.
- One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone.
The beta
Features may change, break or be removed while we build Cop&Haul, and we may pause or end the beta. We'll try to give notice before big changes.
Your content
You own what you post. To run Cop&Haul, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and share your content with the people your settings allow, and to make copies needed for that (such as backups). The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already in backups for a limited time.
Only post things you have the right to share. Don't upload other people's photos (including shop or brand product photos) unless you have permission.
Rules
Don't use Cop&Haul to:
- Break the law or help someone else break it.
- Harass, threaten, bully or hate on anyone, or post sexual content involving minors.
- Post spam, scams, fake listings or misleading links.
- Infringe someone's copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Scrape, overload, hack or get around Cop&Haul's limits or protections (including the beta access check), or use automated accounts.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Shops and links
Cop&Haul isn't a store. Shop links go to other websites we don't control; prices, stock and details there may differ from what's shown here. If we ever earn a commission from shop links, we'll say so.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on Cop&Haul infringes your copyright, email hello@copandhaul.com with: your contact details, the work you own, a link to the content, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you're the owner or authorized to act for them, and your signature. We'll remove infringing content and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Edit profile. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
Disclaimers and liability
Cop&Haul is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we change them in an important way we'll tell you before the change takes effect; using Cop&Haul after that means you accept the new terms.
